Redwood Equine Partners hosted Greg Kersten’s Corral Gathering at the Ferndale Fairgrounds in September. The Gathering was a great success with horse professionals and therapists, as well as interested members of the public hailing from as far away as Sacramento and Oregon attending! The Corral Gathering was facilitated by Greg Kersten, founder of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth & Learning Association), and most recently the OK Corral Series.
The Corral Gathering held in Ferndale served as an introduction to equine-assisted work, as well as providing an update on the newest perspectives and exercises in the field. To learn more about Greg Kersten’s OK Corral Series, please visit: www.okcorralseries.com. Redwood Equine Partners is looking forward to hosting more of Greg’s workshops and trainings in the near future, so check back for details!
Redwood Equine Partners (REP) gave four free demonstrations on Equine Assisted Growth and Learning this summer in Ferndale. The demo’s were fun and informational and there were positive, enthusiastic comments from many participants! REP will facilitate more free demos in the spring of 2009, so please consider joining us. We are looking forward to meeting members of our community who are interested in looking at things from a different perspective using Equine Assisted Growth and Learning!
